Background
Having studied film scoring at the Berklee School of Music in Boston and UCLA in Los Angeles, Wikus spent half a decade in the Hollywood film scoring industry, learning from top professionals in the industry.
He is also an orchestrator and arranger, having studied with film orchestrators Steven and Jack Smalley as well as Jon Kull (iRobot, Avatar, Migration, Hunger Games). A finalist in the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition 2020 and winner of the Jerry Goldsmith Film Scoring Scholarship at UCLA, his most recent project is the survival thriller "Remotely Famous" set in the Australian Outback.
The Sound
His style blends electronic elements and contemporary sounds with traditional orchestration to create a custom cinematic soundscape for each project. From slow-burning tension to heart-pounding climaxes, every score is engineered to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
